Packaging design
Background: Acqua di Nepi is a San Benedetto brand of mineral water. This naturally effervescent water flows from the Nepi spring in the province of Viterbo, an enchanting place nestled in the Lazio hills. It is currently one of the leading premium price brands in the natural sparkling mineral water segment. It is sold through distribution chains in two PET formats (0.5 l. and 1.5 l.) and at Horeca in three glass bottle formats (0.5/0.75 and 1 l.) and one PET (1 l.) option.
Project objectives: Launch the new 1.5 l. format on the Horeca market, in a bottle with a unique design, specifically created to increase brand visibility in bars and restaurants and present it as a product of exceptional quality. A high value, totemic object that is a prestigious and stylish representation of the brand.
The project: Creative research has led to the choice of a high impact project, characterised by an original choice of colours to give a distinctive imprint to the brand (a silver background, with a logo in petroleum green and white). The image consists of a silver reflective film with a silver paste print, creating a noticeable play between the two materials, reinforcing the product’s communicative power, authority and elegance. This high-impact visual image is softened by the logo and the historic cartouche and descriptor with soft and elegant lettering, to underline the prestige and quality of the contents: a mineral water that is highly appreciated for its flavour in the restaurant sector.
